Intended Parents

At Synergy Egg Donation, we believe that communication is the key to finding the ideal egg donor for you and to making the egg donation process as efficient as possible. Whether you have just begun your IVF journey or have been through multiples rounds of IVF, we are here to help you get to the finish line.

We pre-screen our egg donors to maximize the number of eggs your IVF Clinic can retrieve and to increase the likelihood of a healthy live birth. Many of our pre-screened egg donors have also already had their follicles counted and/or AMH levels tested to better ensure a successful stimulation cycle. We will communicate with your IVF Clinic and donor, arrange necessary appointments, and keep you informed throughout the process.

How to find an egg donor

We want the best for you and the egg donor who is helping to build your family.  We have identified the steps to finding an egg donor below. Please contact us with any questions at info@synergyeggdonation.com.

Step 1: Create a Search Account

To access our egg donor database, you will need to create an egg donor search account.  You will be asked a few questions about your journey in order for us to best assist you. You will be assigned a coordinator who can assist you in refining your egg donor search and offer suggestions.

Step 2: Review Egg Donor Profiles

Our egg donors complete profiles that are published on our egg donor database. Their profiles include photos, descriptions of their interests, educational information, health & reproductive history, and family/genetic history.  Some donors choose to create short videos to tell you more about themselves, while all donors provide more information in narrative form.

Step 3: Egg Donor Considerations

Every intended parent has unique needs and goals when looking for an egg donor. However, it is important to review an egg donor’s medical and genetic testing information to ensure that the egg donor you choose in genetically compatible with the intended father or sperm donor.  In addition, choosing an egg donor who lives within driving distance of your IVF clinic can reduce the costs associated with egg donation because your egg donor will need to travel to your IVF clinic for her medical screening, cycle monitoring, and egg retrieval.  Outside monitoring and video consultations are also possible for donors who live a distance from their home IVF clinic.

Step 4: Select an Egg Donor

Once you identify the egg donor who is right for you, you can request them from within your portal or reach out to your assigned coordinator who can assist you with the matching process. Please keep in mind that our egg donors are selected on a first come, first serve basis.  Once you have confirmed your egg donor selection, you will sign a Match Agreement, put down a $1,000 deposit, and we will send the egg donor’s records to your IVF physician to evaluate and approve. We will also reach out to the egg donor to confirm her availability for the egg donation and will begin coordinating her care with your IVF clinic.

Step 5: Next Steps

If your IVF physician approves the egg donor you have selected, we will send you a contract as well as a cost estimate for the egg donation process.  Upon receipt of your signed contract and payment, we will confirm your egg donor match and the egg donation process will begin for your egg donor. Once medical, genetic, and psychological clearances are obtained, a legal contract can be executed and the IVF cycle process can begin.
